Public methodology · v1
Inspect the logic before trusting the result.
The public checker uses deterministic rules. No LLM decides the outcome, and HUMAN DECISION can never be promoted to PASS automatically.
Required-Field Completeness
Required provider fields are missing or uncertain.
Provider Identity Consistency
Legal name and provider identity consistency across source records.
Field 2.08 Supply-Chain Ranking
Downstream provider and parent-chain structure.
Critical Downstream Dependency
Evidence structure versus retained expert judgement.
Multiple-Response Row Handling
Whether multiple responses are expanded rather than compressed.
Repeated Required-Field Consistency
Consistency of applicable required values across expanded rows.
Controlled-Value Validity
Whether controlled values have been structurally validated.
Date Validity & Year-End Position
Ability to represent the relevant 31 December position.
Cross-Source Conflict Detection
Contradictions across procurement, contract, risk and owner records.
Conditional-Field Logic
Whether triggered dependencies have been structurally checked.
Source Traceability
Whether populated values can be linked to source records.
Unsupported Inference Check
A contradiction detector that routes uncertainty to review; it never claims the questionnaire proved a value was guessed.
State derivation
BLOCKED: at least one blocking structural exception.
AT RISK: no blocker, but one or more remediable exceptions.
STRUCTURALLY READY — EXPERT REVIEW REQUIRED: no structural exceptions, but retained judgement remains.
STRUCTURALLY READY: no structural exception or unresolved expert-review flag identified by the self-assessment.
What this methodology does not establish
A questionnaire cannot independently verify customer evidence, certify FCA compliance, decide materiality, provide legal advice or prove that an unsupported value was guessed. Export records are therefore labelled SELF_ASSESSMENT until evidence is separately reviewed.
